Oklahoma State law prohibits acceptance of corporate contributions. State ethics laws prohibit any person or family from contributing more than $5,000 to any candidate during a campaign. Ethics rules define a family as "an individual, his or her spouse, if any, and all children under the age or eighteen (18) years residing in the same household." Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
