KTEN Report on Rural Fire Department Operational Grant Presentation

Senator Jay Paul Gumm, Rep. Paul Roan and Rep. John Carey presented operational grant checks to the 17 rural volunteer fire departments in Bryan County on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009. The ceremony was one of five across Senator Gumm's district in which each volunteer fire department received $5,100 grants for operational expenses funded by the Legislature. KTEN, Channel 10 out of Denison, Texas, covered the event; the report - narrated by KTEN Anchor Lisanne Anderson - aired on KTEN's 10 p.m. newscast on Nov. 17.
