This is the second segment of "Inside the Issues" that features Sen. Jay Paul Gumm, D-Durant, and Rep. Scott Inman, D- Del City. "Inside the Issues" is a public affairs program covering issues surrounding state government broadcast on Cox Cable in both the Oklahoma City and Tulsa markets. It is hosted by former Republican Sen. Jim Dunlap and former head of the Democratic Party Pat Hall. The show aired May 28, 2010, as the legislative session was nearing its end.

KXII's First News at 6 p.m. on June 1, 2010, covered the opening of LOKI Weapons Systems, Inc., a firearms manufacturer that has set up shop in Coalgate, Oklahoma. The opening is the first success of an effort began six years ago by Senator Jay Paul Gumm and Rep. Paul Roan, who represent Coalgate in the Oklahoma Legislature. Reporter Josh Stevenson covers the ribbon cutting and follows local leaders to a firing range when several got a chance to test the manufacturer's weapons. Gumm said this is the first of what will be many firearms and fireams-related companies to Oklahoma.

LOKI Weapons Systems, Inc., held a ribbon cutting June 1, 2010 for its new production facility in Coalgate, Oklahoma. The process to attract this gun maker began when Senator Jay Paul Gumm and Rep. Paul Roan, who both represent Coal County, passed the Oklahoma Gun Manufacturer Recruitment Initiative six years ago.
